KIPP Capital High School to open in August 2025!

Opening in August 2025, KIPP Capital High School will be a place where current and future KIPPsters can attend a joyful, academically excellent high school built with them in mind. 

Constructed for 800 students, the three-floor high school was designed to create a safe, student-affirming learning environment where KIPP high schoolers can receive an academically rigorous, engaging curriculum to prepare them for the future of their choosing. Ensuring the building and learning spaces are flexible and adaptable, the community-centering focal point of the building will be a cafeteria and learning staircase, designed to serve as a central hub supporting large or small gatherings, complete with a platform stage and projection screen. Additionally, students will utilize general classrooms with mobile furniture to allow educators to adjust and evolve to the learning needs of students.  The high school also will feature art and science-specific classrooms, music spaces, computer, media, and innovation labs, a modern gymnasium and fitness center, and a counseling suite.
